Submission process

Deadline	10 days prior to air date
Request form	Request Form In the Request Type field, select General Creative. In the General Creative Request Type field, select Billboards.
Required assets	Logo (animated or static) 5-second VO copy, 10 words or less
Other requirements	If client requires specific color, include the style guide with the submission
Contact	Submit billboards to the appropriate NBCUniversal Marketing Team member for approval. General guidelines

All claims must be supported. Claims requiring additional qualification are unacceptable.
Sell-copy (e.g., offers, pricing, sales) is generally unacceptable, except for slogans that have been well-established in the sponsors’ commercials.
Billboards may not reference more than one sponsor, cross-reference other television programs, contain QR codes, or mention contests, sweepstakes and promotional teasers.
Gambling-related billboards must comply with all gambling laws, regulations, rules and guidelines.
Billboards may reference websites, only if they are exclusively owned by the sponsor of the billboard.
All billboards will be put inside a “frame” with a background shot behind the client logo.
Clients should submit logos “tv safe, center screen”. Our graphics department will size them to fit inside the frame.

Copy	Total length of billboard copy cannot exceed 3 seconds in length for a 5-second billboard and 8 seconds in length for a 10-second billboard. This does not translate into 3 or 8 seconds for the advertiser's name and tagline alone. NBCUniversal reserves the right to change any announcer copy it deems too long or inappropriate for any reason. An MS NOW announcer will read the copy.	Total length of billboard copy cannot exceed 5 seconds in length for a 7-second billboard and 8 seconds in length for a 10-second billboard. This does not translate into 5 or 8 seconds for the advertiser's name and tagline alone. 1 second of paid time on both ends is required for the billboard to air properly. NBCUniversal reserves the right to change any announcer copy it deems too long or inappropriate for any reason. An CNBC announcer will read the copy.
Voiceover	All billboard voiceovers contain the following components: Sponsorship billboards: Editorial franchise followed by the advertiser's name and tagline (if desired). Volume billboards: Name of MS NOW show or “Sponsored by…” followed by the advertiser's name and tagline (if desired).
