CNBC Real-Time Ticker Guidelines | NBCU Creative Guidelines

This page provides the guidelines for CNBC real-time tickers.

General guidelines

Deadline	Must be received by NBCU 14 days prior to air
Dimensions	1800 pixels wide by 128 pixels high Animated graphics should stay within the dimensions
File format	JPG preferred; PNG and EPS accepted RGB mode
Duration of ticker	10 seconds Your animation should leave time for the appropriate amount of hold after logo resolve. Final product will be rendered as a QuickTime Movie.
Submission	Send logo artwork to cnbctickerconfirmations@nbcuni.com. Please allow a minimum of one week to receive a proof mockup. A JPG proof is provided for static assets. An MP4 proof is provided for animated assets.

Note the following guidelines for artwork. Examples are provided.

Client’s provided logo will be composited inside the green area of the banner (as shown in the example) by the CNBC Graphics team.
Finished artwork must leave a 400 x 128 pixel area of clear space on the left side to allow CNBC to insert “REAL-TIME TICKER SPONSORED BY:” text.
The designated background area (as shown in the example) must not include any information, logos, or text.
The designated background area should feature an unobtrusive background image that seamlessly integrates with the rest of your artwork.
